Hero Xpulse 200T: Price, Mileage, and Specification

0

Hero Xpulse 200T: The 200T is the XPulse’s road-only sibling. So you now understand why it appears the way it does.

But we’ll get to that in a minute. First, let’s discuss the rationale for having two versions of the exact same bike.

“Scale economies. Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket. Increasing buyer options.” Regardless of who you ask, having only one model on a single platform is clearly the best way forward. This is especially true when introducing a bike into a category that has historically faced headwinds. That would be dual sports in this case.

Hero XPulse 200T Launch Date:

Hero MotoCorp updated the XPulse 200T last year to meet the latest emission standards, with the ‘T’ denoting urban touring.

Hero XPulse 200T Price:

The bike is only available in one configuration: auto double disc brake with alloy wheels for Rs 120,650 ex-showroom (Delhi). The Hero XPulse 200T price ranges from 94,000 to 1.18 lakhs (Ex-showroom). The Hero XPulse 200T is available in one model. The top variant of the Hero XPulse 200T costs $94,000.

Hero XPulse 200T Features:

The XPulse 200T is the company’s on-road version of the off-road XPulse 200 bike. Hero MotoCorp makes the claim that the bike has a retro design, which has sparked debate. This isn’t a feature-rich bike, but it does include LED headlights and taillights, as well as Bluetooth.

There is a computer-enabled RideGuide App and an LCD instrument cluster. The bike also has call alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, engine kill, AHO (automatic headlight on), stand alarm, low fuel indicator, as well as a clock. This bike is available in three colours: Sports Red, Panther Black, and Matte Shield Gold.

Hero XPulse 200T Performance:

The oil-cooled, four-stroke, two-valve single-cylinder OHC engine produces 18.1 ps of power at 8,500 rpm and 16.15 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The front suspension is telescopic (37 mm Dia) with an anti-friction bush, and the rear has a seven-step rider-adjustable monoshock.

The bike has a single-channel anti-braking system (ABS). The transmission is manual and has five speeds. The 199.6 cc bike’s top speed is estimated to be 115 kmph, with a fuel efficiency of 38-41 kmpl. However, at higher speeds, the bike vibrates.

Hero XPulse 200T Capacity:

The kerb weight is 154 kg, and the fuel tank holds 13 litres. The agronomics are good, and the bike is comfortable to ride.

Hero XPulse 200T Rivals:

Bajaj Pulsar NS200, Honda Hornet 2.0, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, TVS Apache RTR 180, TVS Apache RTR 160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4, and Bajaj Pulsar 150 are some of its competitors.

Conclusion:

As previously stated, Hero is going to play the retro card with the 200T. It intends to provide an easy-to-ride, commute-focused machine that can also handle short road trips. And the bike can do it all, to varying degrees of success.

However, it has a divisive design that may or may not work for the bike. Aside from the design, it doesn’t bring anything particularly novel or exciting to the table. Unlike the Xpulse 200, which makes a compelling case for those willing to look to go off-road, we can’t think of a single selling point for the T.
